Polatis Demonstrates Fibre Connectivity From Base Station Unit To Sony HD Camera

Polatis, a supplier of high performance optical switch technologies, will demonstrate 'base station to HD camera connectivity' - critical for outside broadcast applications - on its Stand 8.B20 at IBC2008.
The demonstration will see the Trinity family of optical video routing switches facilitating bi-directional control and HD traffic over fibre. Trinity will connect with SMPTE bi-directional hybrid cable to a CCU/Base Station and Sony HD Camera.
Trinity is specifically designed for the broadcast, outdoor broadcast and post-production industries.
