Eyeframe Expands Blu-Ray Division With New Appointments

News Image
Following their recent win at this year's HEW awards for 'This Is England', Eyeframe has announced that they have made a number of new appointments to their team, as a result of expanding their Blu-ray division and adding another Blu-ray authoring station.
Kevin Wells has been appointed as technical manager, joining Eyeframe from Metropolis DVD and will be heading up the authoring team.
Commenting on Wells' appointment, Christos Glaridis said: "We are delighted to have Keith join us. Not only does he have an outstanding track record with standard definition DVD and interactive disc, but he is already proving his knowledge and skills by working on some of our more complex Blu-ray projects.
"Our next goal together is introducing BDJ live to our clients' products."
In addition, John Williamson also joins Eyeframe's authoring team. Before joining Eyeframe, Williamson worked at Queensway Digital.
Eyeframe's graphics division is also seeing expansion with the appointment of designer James May who will be working across DVD, Blu-ray, print and motion graphics. Prior to joining Eyeframe, May was working at Harvest Digital.
Eyeframe were one of the first companies in the UK to start working on Blu-ray and HD DVD back in May 2006 and recently completed the Blu-ray of 'Son of Rambow' for Optimum Releasing and are currently working on a number of Blu-ray projects including 'The Sex Pistols: There'll Always Be An England' for Fremantle Media.
