Two Way TV appoint heavyweight chairman

Bruce Steinberg (pictured), former BSkyB General Manager of Broadcasting and the man behind the launch of several innovative TV channels, has joined Two Way TV as non-executive Chairman.
He takes over from Bill Andrewes who founded the company in 1992 and earlier this year announced his intention to retire from full-time executive responsibilities.
During the past 18 months Two Way TV have successfully shifted their business focus towards supplying their exclusive Ark technologies and creative services wholesale to third parties. Clients include BBCi, Channel 4, Sky Digital, Flextech TV, NTL and Telewest.
Steinberg was a key figure at MTV Networks, where as Sales Director he helped drive the growth of MTV Europe.
He then became Chief Executive of new channels UK Gold and UK Living TV. When these were sold to the BBC and Flextech he moved to BSkyB as General Manager, Broadcasting, responsible for Sky One, Sky News, Sky Movies and Sky Box Office, as well as channel distribution and the management of BSkyB's shareholdings in ten joint venture companies.
He subsequently co-founded technology and media venture capital company i-Spire, which has equity stakes in such companies as Ministry of Sound, Cheapflights.com and Pacific International.
