Unicorn Media Launch New Entertainment Web-Site

The internet is an immensely fascinating, ever-changing world full of digital opportunity, buzzing with information and entertainment to satiate the most diverse, demanding needs.
Having undoubtedly infiltrated almost every aspect of business, no industry has been more affected than the music industry - and with a lot of music and video available for free - if not entirely legally - at the click of a button, making money as an artist in the entertainment industry is getting trickier and trickier.
Luckily, help is at hand. Unicorn Media is a brand new online entertainment hotspot offering a no-strings way to make some money off your artistic output. Artists upload films and music to the website where short, relevant advertising is added. Every time someone clicks on that video or track to watch or listen to it, some money is made - money that is then split between the artist and Unicorn Media.
By harnassing the many promotional tools available on the internet - and with the site available across the globe - artists stand to make a lot of money from their work.
So, what's the catch? There really isn't one: artists do not sign their work exclusively to Unicorn Media either - provided they own the rights, they are free to do what they wish with their content and can remove it from the site as and when they like. And not just any old thing can be uploaded - each item is screened by Unicorn Media for quality and suitability, meaning that the problems that befall other video and music streaming websites in terms of relevancy can be largely avoided.
The advertising used in the content is rarely longer than 15 seconds, and in most cases the artist has direct control over where in his work this is placed, meaning that the effectiveness of his or her work is never compromised.
Unicorn Media features the latest streaming technology to ensure that the quality of audio and video is unsurpassed anywhere else on the web. Music is streamed at CD quality, while the video is designed to be portrayed on a large high definition screen, rather than limited to your PC screen. What's more, the speed with which the content streams does not suffer from this high quality - in fact, it reaches your viewing screens roughly four times faster than traditional video sites.
George Meek, President of Unicorn Media, Europe, said: "Finally there is a real and exciting opportunity for artists to truly benefit from the internet and make some money from their hard work. Not only does this provide them with a no-cost, non exclusive platform to spread their art all across the world, it also gives them a constant revenue stream: a benefit distinctly lacking from the online digital market."
