Jampro Adds UHF Broadband Slot Antenna To Prostar

Jampro Antennas, a leading maker of antennas, combiners, filters and RF components used in radio and television broadcasting, will further expand its renowned Prostar Series with the new JA/MS-BB Broadband UHF Slot Antenna.
This new antenna eliminates the need for multiple antennas and provides a single, compact broadband solution that conserves tower space and minimizes wind loading through an elegant, streamlined design.
The JA MS-BB will makes its official debut at NAB 2008 in Stand C 2607, alongside the established Prostar line known throughout the world for durability, high performance and value.
Specially designed for multi-channel/combined channel operations for analog-analog, analog-digital or digital-digital broadband TV broadcasting applications, the new JA/MS-BB comes factory tuned and ready to install.
Broadcasters can choose from a wide selection of standard and custom patterns. It can be configured for horizontal, circular or elliptical polarisation, beam tilt and null fill are available and the JA/MS-BB handles power ranging from 2 to 10kW.
Input impedance is 50ohm and VSWR of 1.1:1 or better can be achieved over sub-bands ranging from 470-530 to 835-890 MHz.
The new JA/MS-BB incorporates Jampro's 50+ years of antenna design and manufacturing experience and over 25 years of manufacturing the world famous Prostar Series brand of slot antennas for low, medium and high power TV applications.
Now the JA/MS-BB offers a new, compact, but thoroughly proven, high performance, ruggedly built "single solution" for analog or DTV broadband applications.
