OmniBus Systems appoint head of North American sales

OmniBus Systems have appointed industry veteran Dave Polyard to the post of vice president of sales and marketing for their North America operation.
Polyard, who will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, will report to Group Sales Executive David Parry-Jones and assumes responsibility for the US sales team that works out of OmniBus’ recently opened US headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, as well as their existing west coast office in Nevada City, California.
Prior to joining OmniBus, Polyard was with Autocue Systems where he established a sales team that he led to five consecutive quarters of increased sales.
Previously, he was director of worldwide sales and marketing for AP Broadcast Technology, the division of the Associated Press responsible for the ENPS newsroom system.
Before joining AP, he worked at television stations in Minnesota, Iowa, Texas and Arizona in a variety of technical, editorial and managerial roles.
