Lion Television Leaps Forward With New Appointments

Lion Television has announced the appointment of Simon Welton as its Senior Entertainment Executive.
Mr Welton has a vast range of production credits including series editing and executive producing Big Brother, Soccer Aid, The Games and The Match and has most recently been a Commissioning Editor at Channel 4
He started his career on The Big Breakfast and the 11 o’clock show before moving on to Big Brother at Endemol, after which he worked on a range of entertainment shows at the BBC and Talkback.
In the same move Neale Simpson has been promoted to the role of Entertainment Producer within the entertainment team.
Lion Managing Director Jeremy Mills said: “Having worked with Simon on our recent Vernon Kaye Saturday night entertainment pilot for ITV we are delighted that he has agreed to join us to head up our entertainment team.
"His appointment, and the promotion of Neale, marks the start of an exciting new phase for our entertainment division. We look forward to building on our current success," he said.
