FremantleMedia Enterprises Announce BRIT Performers

International distributor of the flagship music awards event show, The BRIT Awards 2008, FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has announced the first wave of confirmed international music greats who will perform at the live show in London on 20 February 2008.
Sir Paul McCartney, winner of The 2008 award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, will be headlining the show with a very special performance. The show will also see performances from the ultimate pop queen Kylie Minogue and the record-breaking Rihanna (international female solo artist nominee) along with the world-class British acts the Kaiser Chiefs, Mika and Mark Ronson.
The biggest awards ceremony in Europe, The BRITs is set to take centre stage in the 2008 event calendar. Held in a prestigious London venue, the event never fails to draw and A-list celebrity attendance, offering audiences a guaranteed dose of glitz, glamour and international headline-grabbing controversy. Now in their 31st year, The BRIT Awards are at the forefront of recognising both emergent and established world-class musical talent, and as such are an indicator of global music trends. In addition the performances and the suspense of the awards, viewers are also in for a treat with the inimitable hosts, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
