Christopher Plummer Film 'Man In The Chair' To Be Released In January
'Man In The Chair' starring Christopher Plummer, written and directed by Michael Schroeder, is to be released in the UK at the end of January through Transmedia International Releasing.
Plummer delivers what is considered by many to be the best performance of his entire career, as 'Flash', a curmudgeon with a hankering for classic movies, cigars and booze. Cameron (Michael Angarano) is a volatile teen who commits grand theft auto just because the car is an exact replica from John Carpenter's film 'Christine'. Together they develop a mutual appreciation of both rebellion and cinema.
'Man in the Chair' will be released in the US in December and is set for a UK release at the end of January 2008. The film has already received fantastic reviews and has won a large number of awards at various US & International film festivals.
There is to be a special screening of the film, followed by a Q & A session with Christopher Plummer and Michael Schroeder (the director), at the end of November.
