SIDSA Announces DVB-SH Intellectual Property (IP) block And Receiver Design Reference

International DVB technology provider, SIDSA, is embracing DVB-SH standard to provide Mobile TV technology with universal coverage across all frequency bands.
SIDSA's new DVB-SH IP will cover this emerging satellite to hand-held broadcasting standard and leverages SIDSA's advanced mobile TV receiver technology and performance.
The addition of DVB-SH to SIDSA's portfolio of Mobile TV IP consolidates SIDSA's position as the leading provider of DVB mobile TV technology for semiconductor vendors and reference designs for mobile and consumer electronics.
SIDSA said that providing IP for DVB-SH is a "natural move that follows the strategy to support mobile TV standards that are likely to co-exist."
The DVB-SH IP will include DVB-H functionality, so SIDSA can provide Mobile TV technology targeting universal coverage across all frequency bands.
SIDSA will be exhibiting at IBC 2007 at stands 4.348 and 4.245 in IPTV/Mobile Zone.
