Ortus Media Appoint Mike Gibbs

Ortus Media Ltd, an IDX Technology Group company that is a distributor of broadcast video equipment, has appointed Mike Gibbs as Sales Manager for UK and Ireland. Operating from the new Langley headquarters, he now heads up the Ortus Media sales team.
Gibbs brings over 23 years of film and television industry experience to the job, most recently working with Ortus Media in a sales capacity since the company's launch in April 2006. Prior to that he was involved with sales at IDX Technology for three years. Earlier experience was gained at JVC Professional, Feltech and Filmatic Laboratories.
Gibbs said: "I want to remain active at the front line of sales. Ortus Media has got off to a good start with a very successful first year. We can build on that in the next year by developing sales further. IDX has continued to grow but there is still room for more business especially in the rental and broadcast sectors. I am also looking to add more top products to the Ortus range."
