Prism Sound Announce Winner Of Online Giveaway

Prism Sound, manufacturers of high-quality digital interfaces and recording equipment, have announced the winner of their recent on-line MMA-4XR four-channel mic preamp giveaway.
Recording engineers and producers who subscribe to email bulletins from US recording magazine Mix were invited to enter the competition on the Prism Sound website, which involved answering a couple of questions about the product.
"We had over 1000 entries, which we were very pleased with — it's always delightful to see a high level of interest in our products," commented Graham Boswell, Sales and Marketing Director of Prism Sound. "Of course, that did mean it took us a while to read all the entries, so I'd like to thank everyone for their patience."
The winner is Stanley Brown, a recording engineer and owner of the Sound Of Purple recording studio in Sacramento, California. The project studio is based around a Digidesign Pro Tools system and a Digidesign/Focusrite Control 24 control surface, with Tannoy and JBL LSR monitoring.
Designed by Swedish engineer and producer Leif Mases, who helped to design and run ABBA's Polar Studios in Stockholm in the late ’70s and is the creative force behind the Maselec range of audiophile preamps, compressors, limiters and EQs, the MMA-4XR offers four channels of precision microphone preamplification (up to 60dB in 3dB steps) with extremely low levels of noise.
