Leader Launch CINELITE Exposure Measurement Option

At IBC 2007, Leader will launch a software option for Leader's LV5800, LV5700A, LV5750 or LV7700 analysers.
CINELITE enables television content producers to determine optimal camera exposure settings much more precisely than is possible with a traditional luminance meter. By detecting the actual signal levels captured during pre-shoot line-up rather than merely displaying local light intensity, CINELITE allows a camera's full dynamic range to be used.
When a camera is connected to the Leader's LV5800, LV5700A, LV5750 or LV7700 test instrument, the actual picture can be displayed on a 1024 x 768 pixel TFT LCD screen. Hairline cursors can then be used to select the brightest and darkest points in the scene.
At the press of a button, CINELITE shows the optimal exposure setting either as an f-stop or, if preferred, as a percentage value. When incorporated into the Leader LV5800, four different points of interest on a live feed can be monitored simultaneously. CINELITE also enables colour shaders to rescue undershot or overshot source material more efficiently than simply relying on visual estimation.

This optional firmware shows input timing compared to external reference displays phase shift between the two. Its graphical display is extremely user-friendly, using V-scale in lines and H-scale in microseconds.
An exceptionally powerful tool enabling measurement of PAL/NTSC waveforms, vectors, ScH phase and external reference phase. Compares incoming vertical and horizontal sync with the external reference, displaying the phase difference numerically and graphically. Shows waveform, vector, picture and external-reference phase shift plus low-pass filtered luma component.
Provides channel-selectable video signal decoding from an MPEG2 source which can then be analysed like a regular SDI signal.
