'Watermelon' begins four-week Dublin shoot

'Watermelon', the feature based on the Marion Keyes book and adapted by Colin Bateman, has started filming in Dublin for four weeks.
Kieran J. Walsh (When Brendan Met Trudy) is directing, and stars include Anna Friel and Brenda Fricker. The Production Manager is Ger Daly. Emer Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh, who last worked with Samson on 'The Most Fertile Man in Ireland', is costume designer, and John Hand is production designer.
Cine Electric are providing lighting/generators for the €2.4million production.
The film is co-produced by Samson Films in Dublin, Granada, TV3 and the Irish Film Board.
