Elinor Day launches new production company
Elinor Day, the former deputy head of production at FilmFour and the person responsible for such films as 'East Is East' and Oscar hopeful 'The Warrior', has launched her own production company, the light club.
The venture has an umbrella deal with Box Film, the television and film company founded by former Channel 4 drama chief Gub Neal.
Box, who have an exclusive first look deal with Intermedia, will cover Day's overheads and have first option on upcoming light club projects.
Day aims to develop and produce features across a wide range of budget levels, working with both leading UK filmmakers and emerging talent.
