News Image
From 29 March to 1 April, the new look 'A Rendez-vous with French Cinema' will take place at the Curzon Mayfair cinema – a showcase for the best new French films.
Twelve new French films, representing the strength and rich diversity of current French production, will be given special Gala screenings ahead of their release by UK distributors.
Directors, both the young and the established, will be present alongside up and coming actors and better known French stars, to introduce their films and meet the public for post-screening Q&As.
A diverse programme of masterclasses, meetings, events dedicated to up and coming French and British young acting talent, and screenings of short films will be at the heart of this event organised by Unifrance, the organisation dedicated to promoting French cinema abroad, in association with the French Embassy in London and the Curzon Mayfair cinema.
This event is supported by agnès b., Bourjois, TV5, SKY, JC Decaux, Renault, Eurostar, Claridge's, and Curzon Cinemas.
The full programme of films will be announced in early March.
