Red Bee Media Makes New Appointment To Compliment Digital Hive Service

Red Bee Media has appointed Debbie Phillips to the new role of Director of Playout and Media Services.
The move follows increased demand for the company's Digital Hive service, which is a one-stop-shop for rights holders and platform owners to get content onto new platforms.
Phillips will be responsible for the performance, efficiency and overall customer satisfaction of Media Services and Playout operations. This includes the Media and Object Management system, which makes repurposing content for multiple platforms easy and cost-effective.
Phillips brings with her 17 years of operational experience gained from a variety of roles in the telecommunications and internet sectors. In her last role as Operations Director of internet service provider (ISP), Virgin Net, Phillips was responsible for network performance, call centre operations, service provisioning, billing and technical development. During this time Virgin Net was voted top ISP in both 2005 and 2006 for overall customer satisfaction. Prior to this Phillips spent 10 years at Telewest, Colt Telecommunications and IBM running both service and IT functions.
