Pro-Bel continues customer service expansion with new appointments
Pro-Bel, the premier manufacturer and supplier of routing, signal processing, master control and automation technologies, has announced key additions to its internal sales team with the appointment of two Pre-Sales Consultants.
Malcolm Butler joins the internal sales team following an extensive career with Pro-Bel. Butler has been with the company for 20 years and joined as a Junior Software Engineer. Six years later, he was promoted to Team Leader and later took responsibility for managing software development. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, Butler will be able to use his immense experience of both Pro-Bel technology and the wider broadcast industry to add great value to the sales department.
"My engineering background with Pro-Bel means that I know exactly how the products were masterminded and subsequently developed," he explained. "This internal role gives me the opportunity to focus my talents in a new and exciting area of the business offering fresh challenges for the future."
David Bryan, the second Pre-Sales Consultant to be appointed, also has an extensive history with the company having worked for Pro-Bel for almost ten years in both strategic engineering and product management roles, concentrating on modular products including ICON and COSMOS. Prior to working with Pro-Bel, Bryan held positions with ABC/Thames TV, Michael Cox Electronics and Viewtronics, among others.
Bryan said: "My background product knowledge and industry experience will bring an enhanced technical focus to the internal sales group. I will specifically be supporting Roger Sewell, our Business Development Manager for Northern and Eastern Europe."
Both appointments will help ensure that close liaison between the sales teams, engineering departments and customers is achieved at all times.
Sales Director Patrick Morel concluded: "These new appointments reflect the company's highly skilled and technically minded sales department. With the current sales expansion that Pro-Bel is experiencing, both Bryan and Butler will provide considerable assistance in moving the company forward."
