6,000 visit Digital Arts World

Digital Arts World 2002 recorded that 5,983 people visited Olympia’s Grand Hall to view the host of presentations, seminars, exhibits and demonstrations from the world of visual effects.
A survey showed that approximately 70% of visitors were practitioners in 3D graphics production for TV, film, games development, multimedia and web design. Most said they were planning to spend up to £50,000 on equipment next year and nearly half of all visitors either bought or recommended digital creative technology.
Sonia Kennedy, Marketing Manager at Discreet, said: “We were impressed with the amount of traffic to our stand and generally we had a full theatre for each session. We did get a large number of leads and overall it was a good show.”
Next year, Digital Arts World takes place October 28-30 in the Brompton Hall at London’s Earls Court.
Organisers Advanstar Communications will again collaborate with Future Publishing, whose leading titles for digital creatives include 3D World, Edge, Computer Arts, Cre@teOnline, Computer Music and Future Music.
