DGP gains full service credentials with audio expansion
DGP, the Soho based DVD and postproduction facility, has announced its expansion into audio postproduction after opening a suite of audio studios.
The new facility of four audio suites offers stereo and 5.1 mixing, as well as AC3 and DTS encoding, tracklaying and voice-over recording represents an investment of over £400,000.
Key staff have been secured to head up the department including Emily Cobb as Audio Bookings Manager and Martin Tillman and Wid as Dubbing Mixers.
This latest expansion, adding a further 2,500 square feet to their existing 8000 square foot capacity, sees DGP now able to complete audio post services in house, with improved speed and efficiency.
Having celebrated ten years in the business last year, this latest move is in line with DGP’s aim of providing a fully comprehensive service to its varied client base.
The company now offers editing, graphics, audio, DVD, VOD, HD-DVD & Blu-ray, UMD, DVD Extra and digital delivery facilities.
Rowan Bray, General Manager, said: “Sound is something that DGP has wanted to offer for some time now so this latest development is very exciting for us. The ability to offer dubbing services to our existing post and DVD clients, as well those who just need sound facilities, means we are better able to provide the quality ‘end to end’ service that is our core strength. As with all DGP services we are delighted to have secured some very talented people to work in this area.”
