BBC Commissioning Briefs To Take Place In November In Belfast

The third round of BBC Commissioning Briefs is being held during November 2006.
Commissioning Editors (or executive producers) from a range of genres will talk to a combined audience of independent and BBC in-house producers.
A briefing is being held in Belfast on Tuesday November 14, 2006 from 13.00 till 15.00 at the Holiday Inn, 22 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast BT2 8HS.
Each briefing will last approximately two hours and will include opportunities for questions and one to one meetings. New Media companies are also being invited to these briefings for some informal networking with the television production community.
Genres represented will be:

• Entertainment : John Beazley, Controller Entertainment Commissioning
• Documentaries : Richard Klein, Commissioning Editor, Documentaries
• Current Affairs : George Entwistle, Head of Television Current Affairs
