NetCira’s launch new Bi-Directional Digital Input / Output Card

NetCIRA launched their new I/O-1C Bi-Directional AES/EBU 24-bit/48kHz Input / Output card at PLASA 2006.
Designed for use with the MS-88 Bi-Directional Master/Slave Unit, the NetCira I/O-1C is used to conveniently connect with digital microphone and digital mixing consoles using the D-SUB 25-pin AES/EBU input & output terminal for live sound applications such as touring and installed sound. It is also designed to connect with multichannel equipment used in broadcast applications.
The MS-88 with the I/O-1C plug-in module is best used to minimize the latency and signal loss brought about by A-to-D and D-to-A conversion.
Fully compliant with bi-directional audio transmission, the I/O-1C allows the transmission and reception of audio up to 192 kHz, and features a clear, multi LED front panel that allows for easy digital signal, sampling frequency and UNLOCK / LOCK status monitoring.
Network Commercial, Industrial & Residential Audio - is a new brand from the Fostex Company of Japan.
Offering practically packaged and easy to install products, NetCIRA brings network audio to a wide market and creates a new price/performance standard for the technology.
