'Broadcast Fives' Charity Football Competition Seeks Entries

Billed as 'Where the broadcast and production industry competes' the Broadcast Fives autumn five-a-side football tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday October 14, 2006.
The competition promises to be fierce as ever with over 80 teams expected to take part.
This will be the second Broadcast Fives event in 2006, established due to the high demand from teams who wanted to take part in the sold-out Broadcast Fives event back in May 2006.
Entry per team is just £399 + VAT and all proceeds go to the Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) the trade charity for the film and television industries.
Visit here or call 020 7700 1888 to enter a team.
The Broadcast Fives Competition takes place on Saturday 14 October 2006, 9.30am – 5.30pm at Powerleague, Pursley Road, Mill Hill, London, NW7 2BB.
The day includes:
  • A full day's football action including men's and women's competitions with FA qualified referees
  • At least six games per team
  • BBQ lunch for a squad of 10 players
  • Trophies for cup and plate winners, runners up and golden boot
The closing date for entries is September 29, 2006 and space for teams is limited so sign up today to avoid missing out.
The last Broadcast Fives event in May 2006 was sold out a month prior to kick off!
