MEDIORNET returns to IBC

Following on the back of a highly successful debut at IBC last year, the award-winning Austrian-based networking and multiplexing specialist, MEDIORNET, is using IBC 2006 to launch X-Link.
Aimed at broadcast, outside broadcast, events and multimedia applications, X-Link enables its clients to interface, route and transport any type of data over a centralised, secure and robust network.
A direct result of client feedback, the development of X-Link continues the big strides MEDIORNET made at last year’s IBC where its high-speed optical switching product, X-Switch, walked off with three awards - including the prestigious IABM Peter Wayne Award for Innovation.
As Clemens Czarnecki, Head of Sales, MEDIORNET, said: “We were overwhelmed with the reaction to X-Switch at last year’s show, and the subsequent new clients we gained. We now want to build on this success, and give broadcasters and multimedia clients the ability to manage all their networking needs in a single, centralised and compact system. We believe X-Link is the next-generation system to help deliver this ‘dream’ to our clients.”
