Top design talent joins Designlab

Soho based DVD and post-production facility Designlab has announced the recruitment of Stan Lau.
He arrives at Designlab with a vast amount of DVD experience gained from his time at Technicolor and TMR (formerly The Machine Room) and has over seven years DVD design experience. While at TMR he was instrumental in the re-branding of the company, creating the new logo and identities for the different divisions within the organisation. He has also worked on a vast amount of top entertainment titles including K-Pax, Nanny McPhee and Rory Gallagher for major studios and independent film distributors. The latter two are put forward for upcoming design awards and it is this creative talent which Designlab are looking to tap into.
Lau will be joining Tom Bell, Gary Whitmill, Mareike Besch, Zara Bullock and Marc Langsman, who are all overseen by production manager Jim Morrison, a six-year veteran at D’Arblay Street. Sales and marketing is handled by Daniel Reynolds who in turn reports to Managing Director, Hilary Lambert, a 16-year stalwart of the DVD industry. Morrison said of Lau’s arrival: “With HD on the horizon, Stan joins at an exciting time for Designlab. He is a welcome addition to the established team and his arrival will compliment our existing strong line-up of design talent and technical expertise.”
