OMNEON EXPANDS EUROPEAN TEAM

OMNEON Video Networks has appointed Nallathamby Hari as manager of regional development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA region).
The company provide networking and storage infrastructure for content producers and distributors in the converging industries of television and the Internet.
Hari will have responsibility for operational support for Omneon's growing distribution network and system integration partners.
"With first shipments in Europe starting this month, Hari's appointment adds international distribution management and networking technology skills to the European management team," said Alan Hoggarth, director of EMEA operations for Omneon.
Prior to joining Omneon, Nallathamby Hari (known as Hari) worked at StorageTek and Network Systems, an acquisition of StorageTek, from 1982-99. Hari held a range of service, technical support and engineering appointments, working with customers throughout the EMEA region on major installations in finance and industry.
Before joining StorageTek, he was an electronics engineer with Solartron Schlumberger and Marconi Communications Systems.
Hari has a BSc(Hons) in electrical and telecommunications engineering from the University of Westminster in London.
