VFX 2000 MOVES TO CENTRAL LONDON

VFX 2000, the British Kinematograph Sound and Television Society’s biennial special effects conference, begins in London on September 22.
This year’s conference has moved from its traditional home at Pinewood Studios to larger venues in London’s South Bank, reflecting the phenomenal growth and interest in all areas of visual effects.
The conference aims to educate and inform everyone interested in visual effects - artists, producers, supervisors, cinematographers, editors, directors, technicians, facility managers - allowing a unique insight into the future. Visual effects for Digital Cinema and Large Format will be incorporated into the main programme, alongside in-depth coverage of the traditional film and television media.
Organisers expect this conference will be a truly special event.
Integral to the conference is the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other industry professionals, both in the formal sessions and the social events that complement the program.
VFX 2000 runs 22-24 September 2000 at the BFI IMAX® Cinema and NFT, South Bank, London.
