PANASONIC LAUNCH NEW PROLINE PRODUCTS

PANASONIC have recently launched new DV format models as additions to their Proline product family.
The new Proline DV-format models include, AG-DVC10 Mini-Camcorders, AG-DV200 DV camcorders, AG-DV1000 Mini-DV VTRs and a series of master grade DV videotape.
These latest additions offer multi-generation edits and dubs with no quality loss, an ultra-compact media and a computer interface (IEEE1394), which allows the transfer of DV material into MAC or Windows-based PCs for non-linear editing.
Using a single ultra-compact mini DV cassette the AG-DVC10 3-CCD Mini DV camcorder can record up to 80 minutes of digital component video and digital audio. Combining three Interline Transfer (IT) CCD imagers with 43-mm filters and a large diameter 12X optical zoom lens the camcorder weighs only 4.8lbs in full operating condition.
The AG-DV1000 Mini DV VTR provides non-linear editing applications and can transmit still or video images over the Internet. The VTR’s 16-bit digital sound system lets users select either two PCM audio channels at 48kHZ/16bits or four PCM audio channels at 32kHz/12bits.
The AG-DV200 ½” 410,000-pixel IT 3-CCD DSP camcorder is the industry’s first DV camcorder that can utilizes large DV cassettes.
Recording for four and a half hours, the AG-DV200 offers an interchangeable bayonet mount lens that permits users to use their preferred ½” lens.
