XYTECH SYSTEMS WEB BROWSER MODULE LAUNCHED

XYTECH Systems Corporation, providers of facility management software, will release their newly developed Web Browser Module at IBC 2000.
The Web Browser Module allows Xytech's clients, primarily film companies, broadcast studios and production houses, to access facility information over the Internet from anywhere in the world.
Fully integrated into the network of the home facility, the module increases efficiency for all projects by providing personnel with twenty four hour access to facility information.
After logging on to the Internet, travelling employees can look up information such as studio and production schedules, location information and equipment availablity. The Web Browser Module also provides direct access to vault libraries so personnel can look up any of the media materials stored in facilities.
The Web Browser Module will allow people working on the same project in different parts of the world to collaborate and update status and budgets, enabling companies to track productivity much more effectively and in real time. Personnel can check to see if they are under or over budget in an instant on the web. This allows them to manage costs and allocate resources for the duration of the project.
The Web Browser Module has a built-in security system so only pre-approved personnel can log on and access information. In addition to quick installation and a user-friendly interface, the product also supports multiple sites, companies, divisions, currencies and languages.
