MIPTV highlights from Off The Fence

Leading independent production and distribution company Off the Fence will present a raft of world-class documentaries at MIPTV 2006.
Headlining Off the Fence’s MIPTV slate is the intriguing documentary series ‘Hollywood Science’ (4 x 1 hour, 1 x 2 hour).
The series, produced by Prometheus Entertainment and Fox Television Studios in association with National Geographic Channel, explores the way in which movies shape our understanding of the scientific world.
But just how real is Hollywood’s version – and do they get it right? ‘Hollywood Science’ features state-of-the-art graphics, classic film highlights, behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews with top scientists and major filmmakers that help separate fact from fiction.
Determining where ‘real’ science ends and ‘reel’ science begins, each episode of ‘Hollywood Science’ features a different genre or scientific topic and includes Natural Disasters; Spy Gadgets; Car Chases; Disasters at Sea; and Amazing Vehicles.
