NTL RESTRUCTURES FOR CONVERGENT TECHNOLOGY

NTL have restructured their technology department with the appointment of Peter Black as the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the UK and Ireland.
The creation of the new strategic role of CTO will integrate responsibility for Networks, Information Technology and Product Development within NTL.
Black, previously Managing Director of Networks will continue to report to Leigh Wood for the activity within the UK and Ireland.
Leigh Wood, Chief Operating Officer, said: “As convergence evolves, it is vital that we continue to offer our 4.5 million customers integrated and seamless solutions.
"We are delighted that Peter has agreed to take this new integrated role, which we see as the backbone of our business. NTL now has the UK’s most advanced broadband communications network, and Peter and his team have played a crucial part in helping us achieve this.”
Black's appointment as Chief Technology Officer will take effect immediately.
