MATROX AND ADOBE LAUNCH DV ACADEMY IN UK

MATROX Video Products Group and Adobe Systems have announced the UK launch of the first permanent Matrox/Adobe DV academy.
For the first time UK video enthusiasts can see the realtime functionality of the RT2000 in a classroom environment, coupled with Adobe’s Media Solutions will provide a learning forum.
The DV Academy will be housed at Adobe’s Stockley Park offices near Heathrow.
Students of the DV Academy will have the opportunity to attend a half-day workshop where they will have hands on experience with the RT2000 and Adobe Premiere.
Maggie Zaboura, European Sales Manager for RT2000, said: “End users don’t usually get the chance to have such an interactive session with a product they are interested in purchasing. It’s a revolutionary product and getting your hands on it for a one to one test drive is a rare opportunity that is not to be missed.”
During the sessions, participants will be taken through the basics of video editing and DVD authoring. They will learn how to make the best use out of the RT2000’s Realtime 2D and 3D effects, be shown all of the added features that come with the newly announced Mega Pack software, and get to grips with Adobe’s video editing solutions.
