VintenRadamec Robotic Controller offers 'backward' control

Among the latest additions on show at NAB will be the VintenRadamec controller which is backward compatible with Radamec and Autocam products.
The VintenRadamec controller will sit behind the current user interfaces, and enable operation of all of the current Radamec and Autocam branded products.
By providing this universal solution VintenRadamec broadcast robotics are aiming to develop an upgrade path that has an eye on the past, but paying particular attention to future product developments. The emphasis for VintenRadamec will be the sustainable support and upgrade paths for existing customers regardless of whether they previously bought from Radamec or Vinten Autocam.
VintenRadamec’s approach is to use building blocks to allow current users to slot in the planned additional functionality, whilst also introducing the application of robotics to a greater customer base than has previously seen robotics. Providing an opportunity for clients that have either been out of reach, or not seen robotics as capable of playing a significant part in a creative environment.
See Vinten at NAB 2006 at booth no. C5119C.
