FOR-A sells six more VPS-700 GINGA digital switchers

The New Year brings new deals for FOR-A, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, as it announces six more sales of its VPS-700 GINGA.
FOR-A has sold its 1 M/E digital switcher to companies in Armenia, Belgium, Hungary, Sweden, Turkey and the UK.
David Sarkissian, Managing Director of ACN, who is FOR-A’s distributor in Armenia, spoke about why TV Armenia selected FOR-A’s GINGA: “TV Armenia selected the VPS-700 GINGA because it is flexible, integrated and user-friendly. The product has functions in one box which were previously only available in different products – this was a major attraction to us. Its multi-screen capabilities, 3D effects and easy titling functions were also appealing.”
“The VPS-700 GINGA was designed to provide broadcasters with an array of options to allow them to be more imaginative with their projects. Since we launched GINGA at NAB last year we’ve had a high volume of interest from broadcasters who are keen to be more creative with their productions, giving them an extra edge,” said Max Tsuchiyama, general manager, FOR-A UK. “We’re very happy to announce our new sales and look forward to working with our clients.”
The VPS-700 GINGA comes with six Keyers, six Chroma Keyers and six DVEs as standard and includes a Frame Synchroniser on every input. It can have up to eight additional inputs and outputs and up to 32 additional DVEs as options.
