Telecommunications manufacturers get ready for IEC

All of the world's major telecommunications manufacturers are to gather in London on March 27-30 for the International Engineering Consortium's (IEC) 21st Century Communications World Forum, making it one of the most significant Information and Communication Technology (ICT) events of the year at the Business Design Centre, with BT as the official host sponsor.
Following the highly successful inaugural event in 2005, new key players exemplify the heightened magnitude of the event as Alcatel, Lucent, Nokia, and ZTE Corporation join other major exhibitors such as BT, Huawei, Siemens, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Cisco Systems, ECI, CIRPACK, Juniper Networks, Keymile, Tellabs, IBM, and Redback Networks.
"The 21st Century Communications World Forum comes at the dawn of a new era in telecommunications and the event is ideally located - being in the country where the incumbent operator has announced the most ambitious and far-reaching IP centric network transformation program this industry has ever seen," said John Janowiak, IEC President - Information Technology Sector.
