Welsh Student Festival of Moving Image approaches
The fourth Ffresh - The Student Moving Image Festival of Wales - will take place in the picturesque west coast seaside town of Aberystwyth on February 16 & 17.
This celebration of upcoming talent will see students from 11 universities and higher education establishments competing in 9 categories of excellence. The awards will reflect all aspects of moving image courses currently taught in Welsh institutions.
Alongside the daily award ceremonies, the annual two-day Festival hosts a series of master-classes, screenings, information sessions and workshops.
Frresh Festival annually attracts 500 students, lecturers, and industry practitioners. The event is rising in popularity each year, reflected by the calibre of speakers, and this year Ffresh is delighted to open its doors to the general public for a behind the scenes glimpse of the moving image process.
