'ANYCAST' INDUSTRY ROADSHOW TO TOUR UK

THE PRODUCER, in association with Sony, have announced the launch of the ‘AnyCastWorld’ roadshow which is to visit several major cites around the UK and Ireland.
The roadshow will look at the topics that are shaping the way in which film and television industry professionals’ work. The free seminars will combine open panel discussions, digital theatre screening of high definition images and a key solution providers exhibition.
The panel discussions, lead by key players in the industry, will explore the impact of High Definition on production, the changes in programme delivery with DVD and Video Streaming technologies as well as how to maximise the return on your current production investment.
The seminars are arranged into three sessions to be held consecutively, beginning with ‘Re-purposing for Profit’, focusing on how to get the most from creative efforts. Session two, ‘AnyCastWorld.com’, deals with the impact of the Internet and the third, ‘Filming the Future’, will assess the impact of 24P High Definition production on current film production.
AnyCastWorld begins in London on November 16, moves to Glasgow on November 23. Manchester is visited on November 29, and Dublin hosting the event on December 7. The roadshow closes in Bristol on December 12.
