LGM complete DVD for rock legends

UK based indie production company Little Green Men has completed production on a 55” documentary and a 3 1/2 hour DVD special that promises to be the definitive celebration of the careers of UK rock legends, Status Quo, as they reach their 40th anniversary in the music business.
A co-production between Status Quo’s management company Duroc Media and Alba Communications, ‘The Party Ain’t Over Yet– 40 Years of Status Quo’ will provide hardcore fans and newcomers alike with unique access to the band in the studio, on tour and in their homes.
The DVD will include various extras, including live performances and outtakes right up to the band’s special guest appearance on the UK’s longest running soap, ‘Coronation Street’.
‘The Party Ain’t Over Yet’ is the brain child of Producer John Keeling at LGM and is exec produced by Simon Porter of Duroc Media and Ken Maliphant at Alba Communications.
The programme features extremely rare archive footage of the band including early promos from their days at original label, Pye Records.
John Keeling said: “Status Quo is a rock band without equal. To get the chance to profile them for their 40th anniversary is truly a privilege.”
International rights for the programme will be handled by music and factual programming specialist distributor NBDTV.
The 3 1/2 hour DVD special in production is to be represented globally by Warner Music with a release date of November 7 2005.
