AVC Events announces new senior appointment

Award winning company AVC Media Enterprises has announced the full-time appointment of Debbie Cooper as Senior Events Manager to its Events Division.
Cooper has worked in the hospitality trade for over 20 years and was proprietor of award winning Qevents until AVC acquired it in 2004. Cooper’s appointment further strengthens the events team which provides a full-cycle event solution for a vast range of clients.
Cooper said: “I am delighted to be working for AVC Media in a full-time capacity. I am really looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead in developing AVC Events. The level of expertise that exists within AVC Media is remarkable, we can provide audiovisual, media, and communication solutions that are second to none, not just in the North East of Scotland, but much further afield. I have always admired the growth of this company, it is a truly dynamic and forward thinking business.”
The acquisition in 2004 took place following client demand to provide full event management provision to the same standards offered by the audiovisual, media production and conference areas of the business.

Apart from being well known in the local market, she has extensive knowledge of venues, customers’ requirements and event suppliers. Current contract awards valued at over £150,000 include work for BP, Chevron and KCA Deutag.
