Arqiva puts Rapture TV back on air

Arqiva is to be instrumental in the relaunch of Rapture TV as it goes back on air in November.
The 24-hour entertainment channel has signed a five-year deal with Arqiva for satellite uplink and space segment.
“Rapture TV has now completed a major raft of content acquisition, including the acclaimed BBC Drama ‘Tinseltown’, and is set for transmission,” said Managing Director of Rapture TV David Henry. “To complement this, it has invested in the most innovative and cost-effective technology and services, and Arqiva plays a critical role in the channel’s relaunch.”
Arqiva’s Head of Broadcast Sales John Bozza added: “Rapture TV boasts some of the finest entertainment programming with films, music, computer gaming shows, new comedy, extreme sports and Japanese anime.
“Arqiva will provide the reliable services the channel needs to keep it on the air and ensure this great content reaches as broad an audience as possible.”
