Pinnacle Studio v.10 now available through major retailers worldwide

Avid Technology has announced that Pinnacle Studio version 10, the next-generation of the industry’s most popular home video editing family, is now available in retail outlets around the world.
With significant new features, ranging from full native high-definition (HD) support to pan and zoom capabilities, the Studio v.10 product family enables consumers to enhance and share precious memories with family and friends, and create stunning home movies in brilliant HD resolution.
Consumers can purchase products within the Studio v.10 family in the UK through the Pinnacle Systems website (www.pinnaclesys.com) and major retailers such as PC World, Jessops, John Lewis and Comet. Studio version 10 is also available at e-tailers such as Amazon, Dabs and Misco.
“In a recent survey of 26,000 home video editors, more than 75 percent of respondents cite that they want to preserve all of their family moments on video as well as create home movies with only the good parts,” said Jeff Hastings, General Manager, Pinnacle Systems. “The Studio family is the perfect content creation package for home users, with powerful HD features and other image-enhancing tools that make it easier than ever for anyone to create a professional looking video in a matter of minutes. With version 10 now in stores, we‚re looking forward to the busy holiday shopping season.”
The Pinnacle Studio version 10 family is available in two lines of products, Studio and Studio Plus, both designed to help users streamline home video editing with an easy-to-follow three-step process - Capture, Enhance, and Share. In addition to Studio v.10 software, Pinnacle also offers four hardware packages that provide additional options, such as the ability to capture content from DV and analogue cameras as well as VCRs.
Pricing for Studio software starts at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of £49.99 inc VAT.
