MICROSOFT AND TWO WAY TV PLAN JOINT STRATEGY

MICROSOFT TV and UK-based Two Way TV have announced the signing of a letter of intent for a strategic alliance to bring Two Way TV’s advanced games and services to the Microsoft TV platform.
The potential arrangement would allow the two companies to develop the best interactive games on enhanced TV for customers of the Microsoft TV platform in both North America and Europe. They will determine the best way to combine Two Way TV’s technology and live interactive games service with the Microsoft TV platform.
Simon Cornwell, Chief Executive Officer of Two Way TV, said: “We are delighted to be moving toward a closer working relationship with Microsoft TV. It’s a powerful, flexible resource for interactive television, and I’m confident that the games we develop for the platform will really show off their capabilities.”
As part of the strategic alliance, Microsoft TV and Two Way TV will share early technologies, specifications, feedback and processes.
The companies have also agreed to the co-market and demonstrate Microsoft TV technology and services that the alliance will create.
