ATC Labs establishes software & technology development centre in India

ATC Labs, a global audio and speech technology development and services firm, has announced at the Audio Engineering Society (AES) convention that it has opened a software and technology development centre in Noida, India, in the famed Noida Software Technology Park of India (STPI).
The development centre will support ATC Labs’ growing global client base – which includes Sirius Satellite Radio - and also provide support for the company’s industry-leading high-resolution, low-bit-rate audio codecs which are marketed to clients under the TeslaPro brand and its just-introduced line of low-delay codecs, which are marketed under the ACC brand.
Currently, the Noida centre employs a team of ten engineers with expertise in Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Multimedia Software Development, Audio and Speech Codec Technologies, and Product Testing. More hires are expected in the coming months. The centre will focus on customised software and technology development services, including product integration and testing for ATC Labs clients. The centre will also support enhancements for current and future ATC Labs products. The Noida centre will be supported by Mr. Andre Partyka, who recently joined ATC Labs as its senior vice president for engineering.
“As our model for developing customised next-generation audio & multimedia components for Internet, broadcast & cable, and wireless networks & devices gains momentum, we are now growing an essential support team in the world’s leading developer community – in Noida,” said Dr. Deepen Sinha, founder and president of ATC Labs.
Sinhya, continued: “The ATC Labs Noida centre capitalises on our company’s global research and development contacts, with an eye toward creating a new kind of creative audio and speech technology development powerhouse that can deliver revenue-generating solutions for a broad range of clients, regardless of the network or device.”
