RTM selects Sysmedia plasma gold for DVB-MHP system

SysMedia, a leading specialist in content management and production systems for interactive TV, teletext and subtitling, has concluded a deal with Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
RTM has placed an order for a Plasma Gold content management and production system for its digital terrestrial TV trial. Plasma Gold made its official debut at this year's IBC and is an integrated content management and production system for new media interactive services across TV, web and mobile platforms. Plasma Gold supersedes the company's earlier product, Plasma Magenta.
Plasma Gold will be used to produce a range of interactive applications and services to help RTM test content and business models on the MHP middleware. The order is part of the DVB-MHP full turnkey system that will be supplied by Zentek Content Creation Centre Malaysia and Zentek Technology Singapore. Object Carousels from Strategy & Technology will also be supplied as part of the Turnkey system. Zentek will assist with RTM's initial launch using SysMedia's Application Frameworks to fast track service deployment.
