AVANTI TELEVISION SELECT SONY DMX-R100

AVANTI Television, one of the largest-growing independent production company’s in Wales, have selected the Sony DMX-R100 as the audio centrepiece for their all-digital facility, The Pop Factory.
Located in Porth near Cardiff, The Pop Factory is a multi-purpose broadcast centre that incorporates a live music venue, a recording studio, on-line and off-line editing facilities.
The DMX-R100 was chosen to fulfil a busy and varied schedule in The Pop Factory’s programming includes the production of a music magazine series for BBC2 as well as ‘Sesiwn Hwyr’, a live welsh-language programme for S4C.

The DMX-R100 can operate at up to 96kHz, using high-quality 24-bit ADCs and DACs and high speed SHARC Digital Signal Processors. Its 56 input channels include 24 analogue inputs as standard; a total of 18 output buses can be configured to suit the application. All inputs and outputs boast 4 band fully parametric EQ, dynamics, HPF, LPF. The DMX-R100 user is assisted by both snapshot and dynamic automation, which can be linked to LTC & MTC.
Machine control is made possible via 2 x Sony 9-pin, MIDI and Timecode chase connections.
