DNF Controls addresses customer needs with new ST304-EDIT-T

DNF Controls have announced a new high-quality, low-cost combination slow motion controller and two-machine cuts editor designed for fast-moving demanding sports broadcast environments.
By expanding the capabilities of DNF's popular ST300 slow motion controller, the new ST304-EDIT-T addresses customer demands for a compact control solution that would allow one operator to perform both slow motion control and create game highlights on a tape-based system.
For the optimum in slow motion control, the compact, affordable ST304-EDIT-T offers smooth, slo-mo playout, and a powerful setup menu, which allows users to configure the controller for the way they work.
Operators can quickly and easily mark and recall up to 100 cue points per VTR - up to 400 in total. The cue points are retained in non-volatile memory when the unit is powered off. Up to four VTRs can be controlled individually or ganged.
The ST304-EDIT-T is also specifically designed for fast and easy-to-use sports-style two-machine cuts editing. Its tactile user interface makes it familiar and efficient. The solution supports both video and audio editing. The IN and OUT points can be marked or manually entered using the numeric keyboard. The TRIM+ and TRIM- keys provide fast trimming -- by frames, seconds, minutes, or hours. IN, OUT, and DURATION for each VTR is displayed on the ST304's easy-to-read, four-line LCD display.
