SeaChange uses DNF Controls system for new MediaClient demos

DNF Controls has announced that its four-channel 3040P-L Playlist Playout Controller is being used by SeaChange International to provide jog/shuttle/playback control of the new SeaChange MediaClient SDI decoder.
This first product in the new MediaClient family was introduced to the market in September 2004 and has been integrated with DNF's 3040P-L controller in MediaClient systems showcased at conferences, conventions, and client sites across Europe and Asia.

It makes it easy for SeaChange customers to prepare content for play-to-air, providing an additional piece of automation for controlling the playback of SDI decoders in a multichannel environment."
The SeaChange MediaClient MPEG-2/DV-based video codecs are designed to support recording, playout, and workflow in television broadcast facilities regardless of video image format, file type, or compression scheme.
DNF's 3040P-L Playlist Playout Controller consists of DNF's ST400 controller with Playlist Playout software. It controls one playlist per channel on up to five channels, for a total of 2,000 elements. In addition, the controller features one source VTR channel. The 3040P-L makes it fast and easy to create playlists, play them, and modify them during playout. The List Transfer Option, a Microsoft Windows PC application, and makes it fast and easy to load a playlist into the 3040P-L.
