PIXEL POWER DEBUT GRAPHITE 2 IN UK

PIXEL Power, providers of graphics and character generator products, have announced that Graphite 2 will be on show for the first time at VideoForum 2001.
The advanced CG, still store, paint and animation system with real-time clip playout, is based on the entirely new, dedicated hardware from Collage 2 debuted by Pixel Power at last year’s IBC.
Dual Power PC processors and multiple pixel processors give Graphite 2 speed and flexibility. Combined with a powerful suite of creative tools, expandable 36 minutes of uncompressed video storage and automated on-air playout capability, Graphite 2 provides the ultimate on air graphics system.
Also on show will be Clarity SD/HD, the award winning Window-based multi-channel character and graphics generator for both standard and high definition.
Clarity is the only character generator available which can support both standard and high definition simultaneously in the same unit. Supported configurations include dual channel SD, single channel HD and/or dual channel SD, dual channel HD and quad channel SD.
The Clarity system incorporates a powerful and versatile integrated character generator, still store and paint system, and supports all the high definition formats. (CD)
