BBC RESOURCES SELECT CUSTOM CONSOLES

BBC Resources, Consulting and Projects, have selected Custom Consoles to supply four complete furniture suites for their new regional broadcasting centre in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Three Systemtwo height adjustable desking systems, designed and manufactured by Custom Consoles, for use with video editing systems, are to be installed in the new centre.
The BBC's new Systemtwo suites will feature an electric height adjustable
desk and monitor shelf, 19" mobile 13U equipment pedestal and a VTR tray.
The fourth system to be installed by Custom Consoles in the Tunbridge Wells
studio will a be custom designed unit, supporting a larger, alternative
shaped desk and monitor shelf to accommodate specialised weather forecasting computers.
Gary Fuller, Sales Manager for Custom Consoles, said: "The Systemtwo range provides our clients with the option to select European Standard approved, off-the-peg suites for broadcast and production facilities, as an alternative to completely custom designed consoles.”
The Systemtwo range of furniture has been tested by the Furniture Industry Research association to the appropriate British and European standards for structure, cable management, ergonomics and Health & Safety regulations.
