BWPL ANNOUNCE BUSY SCHEDULE FOR 2001

BRIAN Waddell Productions Limited (BWPL), an independent production company based in Holywood, Northern Ireland, have announced that they already have many productions in development for 2001.
Among BWPL’s programmes in production are: ‘Divine Transformations’ for Channel 4; ‘Bridget Jones Theme Night’ for Sky One; ‘St. Patrick’s Night’ for Sky One; ‘Celebrities Little Helpers’ for Sky One and ‘Gourmet Ireland – Four’.
Other programmes in development include ‘Built To Measure’, ‘Blood Ties’ for BBC Northern Ireland, ‘Life at Queen’s’ and ‘Time Out in…’ for National Geographic International.
The company have their own camera crews and other technical facilities, dedicated to in-house production, and are based in purpose-built studios in Holywood, County Down, installed with edit suites and the latest technology.
BWPL have a list of award-winning regional, network and satellite programme credits. Among those credits are three BBC network series of ‘Gourmet Ireland’, four DIY and home improvement series for the BBC network, three series of ‘Pot Luck’, three series of ‘The Vibe’, two series of ‘Opening Nights’, ‘Period Rooms’ for Channel 5, two specially commissioned series for TV3, three BBC series of ‘The Rankin Challenge’, ‘Lisa Looks Back’ for Channel 4 Schools, and ‘Ten of the Best’ for Carlton Food Network.
In 1996 the company acquired DBA Television, Belfast-based documentary makers. Waddell is also Chairman of two companies: Yellow Moon Limited, a non-linear post-production facility house, and Network Ireland Limited, an international distribution company based in Dublin. (CD)
